Amazon’s satellite internet service is scheduled for mid-2026 availability
Amazon Leo (formerly Project Kuiper) will launch mid-2026, according to Andy Jassy. On Wednesday, the Amazon CEO dropped the news in his annual letter to shareholders. The company says Leo will support download speeds up to 1 Gbps. By comparison, Starlink’s download speeds typically range between 45 and 280 Mbps.Jassy didn't specify whether the mid-2026 launch date will include consumer availability.
